Donetsk, Jun 24 - DAN. A Ukrainian army unmanned aerial vehicle dropped a bomb in the Staromikhailovka settelment area in western Donetsk killing a Donetsk People’s Republic militiaman, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“At 10:25, Ukrainian armed formations, in violation of Item “a” of the Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire, used an attack UAV to deliver a strike at People’s Militia positions in the Staromikhailovka settlement area,” the report said. “As a result, a defender of our Republic was killed.”
On June 21, three DPR militiaman were killed and one was wounded as Ukrainian armed formations fired mortars at western Donetsk. Ukraine provided security guarantees for their evacuation, and the DPR sent an ambulance to the scene. However, it came under fire as well which left one person dead and four wounded.*jk
