Donetsk, Mar 18 - DAN. A Donetsk People’s Republic militiaman was fatally wounded in shelling by Ukrainian armed formations on Wednesday, the DPR People’s Militia reported on Thursday.
“The enemy has delivered five provocative strikes since Wednesday. Our defender was fatally wounded as he was protecting the Republic from Ukrainian aggression,” the report said. “We convey our heartfelt condolences to his family.”
The enemy activity was suppressed by DPR militia units’ return fire, the report said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
