Donetsk, Nov 8 – DAN. The DPR Prosecutor General's office launched terrorism investigation against two Ukrainian commanders who had ordered the shelling of Donetsk on November 5.
"The investigations department of the DPR Prosecutor General's office has launched criminal investigation under Article 229, part II, a and c, DPR Criminal Coda against the commander of the 25th separate airborne brigade of Ukrainian army Zenchenko O.V. and the 55th separate artillery brigade commander Brusov S.E.," the press service said.
The two suspects ordered to open heavy weapons fire on Donetsk, the act is investigated as a terror attack.
Recently, security situation has deteriorated, as Kiev forces used rocket artillery to shell Donetsk and its neighborhood on November 5. Two civilians have been injured, a number of households and infrastructure damaged.
The ‘school ceasefire’ has been agreed to by the sides as the new academic year was to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It hasn’t proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized.*ot
