Donetsk, Mar 22 – DAN. The commander of Ukrainian 28th separate mechanized brigade ordered to open fire an Alexandrovka, which killed a civilian resident, the DPR People's Militia said.
"Chasteners of the 28th brigade, deployed to Maryinka, opened sniper fire on Alexandrovka in an attempt to provoke retaliatory fire, following the command of their commander Maxim Marchenko. The fire targeted residential quarter and resulted in a civilian fatality."
The victim was identified as a 71-year-old man.
After the man was killed, the fire continued hampering evacuation efforts.
Currently the People's Militia is trying to provide security in the area to let first responders retrieve the body. *ot
