Donetsk, Jun 9 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic militiamen, supported by Russian armed forces have killed up to 50 Ukrainian invaders over the past 24 hours, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“DPR and Russian servicemen jointly destroyed two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carriers, two ammunition delivery vehicles and up to 50 personnel, ” Basurin said.
Five enemy fire positions were silenced in the Avdeyevka and Peski settlement areas northwest of Donetsk, he added.
The special military operation in Ukraine and Donbass began on February 24, 2022. As of now, the DPR has assumed control over 229 settlements.*jk
