Donetsk, Jun 1 — DAN. DPR forces have liquidated 55 Ukrainian occupiers over the last 24 hours, the DPR Defence’s deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin said.
«Over the last 24 hours, our service members liquidated 55 Ukrainian nationalists, two T-64 tanks, one IFV, two supply trucks, two fire positions outside Novosyolovka Vtoraya, » the report reads.
The Defence reported full control of Novosyolovka Vtoraya, a town on the highway to Konstantinovka. The enemy still controls some heights in the area and has failed several counteroffensive attempts.
The Ukrainian armed forces keep barraging the surrounding townships, there is hardly a single undamaged house left in the area.
Russia began its special military operation to defend the Republics of Donbass on February 24. DPR forces have first liberated southern areas, and are currently liberating the north of the country. *ot
