Donetsk, Jun 27 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic militiamen supported by Russian forces have destroyed an enemy multiple rocket launcher platoon and two armored vehicles in the liberation operation over the past 24 hours, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Monday.
“Over the past 24 hours, DPR militiamen and Russian servicemen jointly destroyed a ‘Grad’ BM-21 MLRS platoon and two armored vehicles, ” Basurin said.
Three Ukrainian fire positions were silenced in the Pervomaiskoye and Kurdyumovka settlement areas on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes, he added.
The special operation to liberate Donbass began on February 24. According to the latest reports, 239 villages and settlements have been liberated from Ukrainian forces. Fighting is ongoing on the Slavyansk, Artyomovsk and Avdeyevka axes.*jk
