Donetsk, Jun 29 — DAN. Coalition forces have silenced four fire positions of Ukrainian armed formations northwest of Donetsk, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, DPR militiamen and Russian servicemen jointly destroyed three enemy ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launchers, two armored personnel carriers, one armored vehicle and an ammunition dump, ” Basurin said.
Four enemy fire positions were silenced in the Ukraine-controlled Avdeyevka and Nevelskoye areas northwest of Donetsk, he added.
The special operation to liberate Donbass began on February 24. According to the latest reports, 239 villages and settlements have been liberated from Ukrainian forces in the DPR. Fighting is ongoing on the Slavyansk, Artyomovsk and Avdeyevka axes.*jk
