Donetsk, Oct 18 – DAN. Kiev forces shelled DPR territory 253 times over 24 hours, said DPR operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
“Kiev forces violated ceasefire 253 times over 24 hours, using heavy artillery and mortars 218 times,” he said.
According to the Command, Ukrainian forces targeted Yasinovataya, Spartak and Zhabun'ki villages, Gorlovka and Zaitsevo village, Donetsk airport area, Sakhanka, Bezymennoye and Leninskoye villages in DPR south.
“This morning the enemy started shelling Bezymennoye (DPR south) using 152mm and 122mm artillery, launching over 20 rounds. The fire was opened when the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC) and OSCE SMM representatives were present on the Ukrainian side," Basurin added.
