Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. One DPR service member has been killed, another one injured in Ukrainian Friday morning attacks on DPR townships, the DPR People's Militia said.
"As a result of enemy's fire, one of our defenders has been killed, another one injured. We extend our condolences to the family of the deceased and wish the soonest recovery possible to the injured service member."
According to the report, Ukrainian 72nd, 93rd and 128th brigades are behind the attacks.
Shelling incidents have been reported since 5.40 a.m. today, at least 65 rounds have been fired, including artillery rounds.
Ukrainian side ignored DPR requests to reinstall ceasefire via the coordination mechanism.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
