Donetsk, Oct 10 – DAN. Ukrainian military units shelled DPR territory 314 times over 24 hours, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"The situation in DPR remains tense. Over the last 24 hours Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 314 times, 217 times of which using weapons banned under the Minsk Agreements," he said.
According to the Command, Ukraine forces hit Aleksandrovka and Trudovskiye villages west of Donetsk, Zaitsevo, Panteleimonovka and Zheleznaya Balka in vicinity of Gorlovka, Belaya Kamenka, Sakhanka and Novaya Marievka in the south of DPR with tank fire, artillery and mortars.
Earlier in the day DPR defense source told DAN that Ukrainian armed forces fired 135 artillery and mortar rounds overnight hitting DPR frontline areas.
Intense shelling of Sakhanka in DPR Novoazovskiy region by Kiev forces was reported on October 8th, two women were injured, 15 houses sustained damage. According to the latest information, another woman was injured in Sakhanka and four houses damaged in Zaitsevo, north of Gorlovka.
