Donetsk, Mar 23 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 12 times over the week firing over 70 mortar rounds, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
“Overall, 12 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 76 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds."
The enemy targeted seven townships in DPR, damaging and destroying eight buildings in Sakhanka.
Earlier reports said Kiev forces violated the ceasefire four times in the past 24 hours, targeting frontline townships with 30 rounds.
The Contact Group brokered an "absolute ceasefire" in Donbass in effect from midnight March 5. The DPR said it is fully committed to the agreement and silenced guns. *ot
