Donetsk, Mar 9 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 33 times over the week firing over 130 mortar and artillery rounds, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“Overall, 33 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 131 120mm, 82mm mortar rounds."
The enemy targeted 14 frontline townships in DPR, damaging one house in Dokuchayevsk.
The Contact Group has brokered an "absolute ceasefire" in Donbass in effect from midnight March 5. The DPR said it is fully committed to the agreement and ready to silence guns.
According to earlier reports, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire once over the past 24 hours. *ot
