DPR Command: Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 50 times over the week

Donetsk, Jan 12 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ‘school ceasefire’ almost 50 times over the week, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

“Overall, 49 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 207 120mm, 82mm mortar rounds since January 10, and fired 32 artillery rounds.

The enemy targeted 14 frontline townships in DPR, damaging eight houses.

The DPR Operations Command reported earlier that Kiev forces violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours.

The New Year ceasefire came into force on December 23; still Republican command records violations on the Kiev’s side. *ot
