Donetsk, Nov 4 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have intensified shelling of the Donbass People’s Republic, more than 3,800 cases of ceasefire violations were reported over the past week, a DPR defense official said.
"Ukrainian forces intensified shelling over the week. They have broken the ceasefire 3,800 times over the past week, employing artillery, tanks and mortars to shell the Republic in 3,042 cases,” DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Fridayю
He added that Kiev forces used weapons banned under Minsk Agreements more often during the daytime.
Basurin said that 25 towns and villages were hit this week, in particular Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye, Yasnoye outside Dokuchaevsk, Zaitsevo north of Gorlovka, Elenovka south-west of Donetsk, Kievskiy and Petrovskiy districts of Donetsk.
