Donetsk, Mar 30 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire over 40 times over the week firing over 230 rounds, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
“Overall, 43 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 237 artillery, tank gun, 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds, plus it used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.”
The enemy targeted ten townships in DPR, damaging seven buildings.
The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30. The Ukrainian side violated it at 9.35 a.m. by targeting Kominternovo with mortar rounds. *ot
