Donetsk, Jan 11– DAN. DPR Operations Command reported a dramatic deterioration of the situation along the contact line as Kiev forces violated the ceasefire more than 900 times over the last 24 hours.
"The situation in DPR has escalated dramatically. Over the last 24 hours Kiev forces shelled DPR territory 911 times, one our serviceman was wounded, " said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
Ukrainian forces fired 24 artillery rounds, 269 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds, 11 tank gun rounds and 527 grenade launcher rounds; IFV cannons and small arms were also used.
Basurin said the enemy continued to deploy hardware to the south axis.
In vicinity of Primorskoye seven km from the contact line three 122mm self-propelled howitzers Gvozdika were spotted.
In vicinity of Starognatovka four km from the contact line a 122mm D-30 howitzer and three trucks loaded with ammunition were revealed.
"We have information concerning the planned drills of artillery spotters due on January 10-19 under command of 36 separate marine brigade," he added.
Kiev forces also targeted Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka, Nizhnetoretskoye, Makhailovka, Dolomitnoye in vicinity of Gorlovka; Yasinovataya and neighboring Zhabichevo, Vasiyevka, Krutaya Balka, Spartak; Aleksandrovka and Trudovskiye west of Donetsk and the city airport area. *ot
