Donetsk, Aug 22 — DAN. Five civilians have been wounded as a result of Ukrainian aggression over the past 24 hours, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
Three people were wounded in the detonation of unexploded cluster munitions, and another two including an 11-year-old girl were hurt in direct cluster shell impacts. All the incidents were reported in Donetsk.
Two apartment buildings and one civil infrastructure facility were damaged in Kiev army attacks. The enemy shelled the Republic some 70 times expending 224 rounds of ammunition. Strikes were delivered at Donetsk, Makeyevka, Svetlodarsk, Gorlovka and its outskirts and the Yasinovataya district.
Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin earlier warned the population that Ukrainian attacks left a large number of unexploded bomblets in park areas.*jk
