Donetsk, Nov 17 – DAN. Ukrainian forces opened fire on Hospital No 21 in frontline Oktyabrskiy village in Donetsk Kuibyshevskiy district, damaging frontage and windows, DPR Operations Command said.
“At around 12:30 p.m., two mortar rounds hit Hospital N 21 area in Donetsk Kuibyshevskiy district, damaging hospital frontage and smashing windows,” it said.
DPR authorities are looking into the shelling incident.
Donetsk Hospital N 21, in immediate proximity to the contact line, has been repeatedly shelled by Ukrainian forces, sustaining roof and windows damage. It continued to operate during the conflict though. In the summer of 2015, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muižnieks visited the hospital on special inspection tour.
