Donetsk, Feb 9 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have used a high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) to shell the Leninsky district of Donetsk, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes reported on Wednesday.
The enemy fired three HIMARS missiles from Konstantinovka at 19:43, the JCCC said.
The strike destroyed the non-operating “Stal” cinema house, said Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin.
Earlier, Donetsk and Makeyevka residents told the Donetsk News Agency about a powerful explosion.
Powerful explosions were reported in the DPR overnight to Wednesday. Subsequent report said the enemy had delivered strikes with HIMARS missiles from Konstantinovka.*jk
