Donetsk, Oct 24 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired fewer than 100 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic settlements over the past 24 hours compared with more than 270 rounds in the previous 24-hour period.

Military situation

The enemy targeted Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and their suburbs using 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery and tank guns.  A single-family home was damaged in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district. More than 4,000 customers were left without electricity in the Alexandrovka neighborhood in western Donetsk and the settlement of Olginka outside Dokuchayevsk.

Reports on Monday said that the Russia Air Force, artillery and defending units rebuffed Ukrainian attacks on the Krasny Liman and South Donetsk axes.

Donetsk People’s Republic parliamentarians have approved for the first time in history their responses to draft federal laws. The lawmakers considered the measures to protect citizens from the propaganda of untraditional sexual relationships.

An interim parliament commission on protection of national minorities has ceased its activities. The commission has operated since May 2022. 

The Russian government has said that more than 353 million rubles were allocated for preventive medical examination of children in Donbass and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as part of implementation of the orders issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the DPR, doctors have already checked more than 2,600 children.

The Football Union of Russia has announced that the DPR junior team would participate in the New Generation Cup in Crimea on November 4-8.

The Republic’s Public Chamber has passed relief supplies to coalminers of the Zasyadko colliery which has operated practically on the frontline for more than eight years.

Sakhalin region governor Valery Limarenko has visited the sponsored town of Shakhtyorsk. Together with DPR government chairman Vitaly Khotsenko, he inspected the town facilities which are being rebuilt with the assistance of specialists from Sakhalin.

The Chelyabinsk region handed over four tank cars to Yasinovataya. They will be distributed among town utility companies to ensure uninterrupted water supply to boiler houses.
