Donetsk, Aug 29 — DAN. The Russia-led coalition has liberated the Kodema town on Artyomovsk outskirts, the DPR Territorial Defence HQ said.
“As of August 29, the group of DPR and LPR forces with the fire support of the Russian army has liberated 271 localities, including Kodema,” the report reads.

Kodema is located between Golrovka and Artyomovsk, less than 10 km from the latter that Kiev forces used as a foothold for shelling Gorlovka and its outskirts. Kodame is a strategically important location in the offensive on Artyomovsk.

Earlier, Vershina, a small village north-east of the town, was liberated.

The operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine began on February 24. *ot
