Donetsk, Apr 22 - DAN. A man was wounded as Ukrainian armed formations shelled the western outskirts of Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“A 60-year-old civilian was wounded when he was in the yard of his house at 2 Respublikanskaya Street,” the report said.
The victim was ruched to the neurosurgery department of the Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Kalinin Hospital) with parietal bone fracture and damage to external bone plate. He’s currently in a surgery room in a serious condition, the JCCC said.
Ukrainian forces reportedly fired grenade launchers at the Shakhta Trudovskaya and Staromikhaiilovka settlements earlier in the day.*jk
