Donetsk, Dec 26 — DAN. Ukrainian army units fired almost 100 ammunition rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of the day.

Military situation

Ukrainian gunmen began to shell Donetsk’s Petrovsky district at 8:40. They opened fire at the city district several times on Monday wounding two civilians and damaging two single-family homes in Wagner and Lermontov Streets and a apartment building in Ratsionalizatorov Street.

Donetsk’s Kirovsky district also came under enemy artillery fire. A projectile hit a single-family house in Tchaikovsky Street.

On Donetsk axis, Russian troops continued to successfully advance taking advantageous lines and positions. An enemy “Grad” multiple rocket launcher was destroyed in counterbattery fire in the Pervomaiskoye area. Three Ukrainian D-30 howitzers were destroyed near Torskoye, Vodyanoye and Maryinka. In the Kramatorsk town area, a Ukrainian weapon repair center was destroyed together with two HIMARS, two “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzers, five D-30 howitzers and three special purpose motor vehicles.

Keys to apartments in a new residential area in Semenenko Street in Mariupol were handed in to five families on Monday. At present, families are moving in the first of the three nine-storey apartment buildings. The second will be commissioned shortly, and the third within the first two months of 2023.

New mobile medical complexes to provide assistance to residents of remote settlements have been delivered to the DPR. DPR health Centers received 23 mobile outpatient centers, in line with the Russian government’s instructions.
