Donetsk, May 16 - DAN. A bus carrying Donetsk Water Treatment Plant personnel has come under Ukrainian army fire near Yasinovataya; no casualties have been reported, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.
“Today, at 14:55, Ukrainian armed formations delivered a strike with 120mm and 82mm mortars at the Yasinovataya area. A bus carrying Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS) shift workers came under fire as it was driving from the DFS on the H-20 motorway,” the report said.
There were no casualties. The bus has left the scene of the incident by now.
Tensions have heightened in the Yasinovataya area over the past few days. Ukrainian troops periodically shell the area of the Vasilyevka 1st level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct.*jk
