Donetsk, Mar 9 – DAN. Twelve members of Ukraine's 53rd mechanized brigade and 36th marine brigade have voluntarily laid down arms, the DPR Defence's deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin said.
"Twelve members of Ukraine's 53rd mechanized brigade and 36th marine brigade have voluntarily laid down arms and joined the People's Militia side," he said.
The ex-members of the Ukrainian army were provided with everything they needed. After the operation ends, they will return to their families.
Ukraine has lost 1,447 troops killed and wounded since the beginning of the special operation. *ot
