Donetsk, Oct 22 - DAN. Almost 90 people in the DPR were killed since the Additional Measures to reinforce the ceasefire came into force, the DPR Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Nikonorova said speaking at the "Minsk process: reality and tendencies" round table organized in the Russian Tass News Agency.
"The situation at the contact line and within the talks has only been deteriorating, unfortunately. If we take the period from the moment the Additional measures came into force, than six civilians and 82 service members have been killed; 28 civilians and 104 defenders have sustained injuries," she said.
Over the same period, 263 houses and 51 infrastructure facilities have been damaged, five household have been destroyed.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
