Donetsk, Mar 17 - DAN. Eighteen servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine have surrendered to Donetsk People’s Republic militia, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“Eighteen National Guard of Ukraine servicemen have voluntarily laid down their arms, which saved their lives,” Basurin said.
He called on other Ukrainian servicemen to follow suit.
“You can return to your families only if you lay down your arms voluntarily and side with the Donetsk People’s Republic,” he added.
