Donetsk, Dec 6 – DAN. The Honored Donbass State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble will perform at the State Kremlin Palace on December 8.
“Undoubtedly, this is one of the most significant trips in our modern history: we perform on the main stage of Russia in a large-scale festival together with the leading state collectives of the country. To say that it is prestigious is to say nothing, and we are excited, of course, because we represent professional-level art of the DPR," the art director of the Ensemble Olga Goryacheva said.
The artists left for Moscow today to take part in the IV All-Russia Popular Art Festival. It is the first Ensemble's performance in the Kremlin in 45 years.
The Donbass Song and Dance Ensemble was founded in 1937, laureate of numerous international festivals. Currently, it performs in the DPR. *ot
