DPR declared three-day mourning for Iosif Kobzon

Donetsk, Aug 30 – DAN. DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko has declared three-days to mourn the death of a legendary performer, DPR Hero Iosif Kobzon.

"I express my grief over the death of a legendary performer, People's Singer of the USSR, People's Singer of the DPR, DPR Hero Iosif Kobzon. I extend my condolences to his family and friends, and declare a three-day mourning for him in the DPR on August 1, September 1 and 2.

National flags are to be returned to half-staff in honor of the singer. Entertaining events and TV shows are to be cancelled.

Iosif Kobzon passed away on August 30 in Moscow at the age of 80. The funerals will take place on September 2 in Moscow. *ot
