Donetsk, May 29 – DAN. Donetsk National Academic Musical and Drama Theatre invited 10 thousand people to see the Juno and Avos rock opera within the framework of the humanitarian program for reunification of Donbass people.

"Within the framework of the humanitarian program for reunification of Donbass people the theatre announces "Theater Invites Old Friends" program. Ten thousand people received invitations for the Juno and Avos rock opera. The entrance is free for the people from Kiev-controlled areas."

Those willing to see the opera should reply to the SMS-invitations to book places.

Juno and Avos is a popular Russian-language rock opera written by Alexey Rybnikov, poetry by Andrei Voznesensky. It was first performed in 1981 in the Lenkom Theatre, Moscow, directed by Mark Zakharov. Donetsk Drama Theater was the sixth in the world to stage the opera, it premiered in April 2017.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
