Donetsk, Aug 9 — DAN. American actor, screenwriter and film director Seven Seagal has visited the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Tuesday.
“Steven Seagal is shooting a documentary about the war in Donbass. Today, he talked with prisoners of war in the Yelenovka pre-trial detention center, ” Pushilin said. “A part of gunmen has recently been killed there in an intentional missile strike by Ukrainian armed formations.”
He noted that the U.S. film director said that 98 percent of people who talk about the Donbass conflict on the media had never visited the region.
“He wants to change the view on this war, a challenging task. I wish him success and thank him for visiting the Republic in this very unsafe period, ” the DPR Head said.*jk
