Pushilin thinks US-Russia talks on Donbass is a positive move

Donetsk, May 29 – DAN. The renewed talks between the USA and Russia on Donbass settlement would influence Kiev when it comes to fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements, said DPR envoy to Minsk talks Denis Pushilin.

"As Ukrainian authorities stick to their western partners, the move to revive talks between the US and Russia on Donbass conflict seems like a good signal. Though the USA is not a side of the talks, still they can influence Kiev to a large extent. Kiev won't compromise on its own will".

The Washington Post today cited sources among experts and officials saying that Donald Trump's administration considers relaunching of talks with Moscow on Donbass conflict. It also reported some high level contacts on the matter.
