Donetsk, Sep 19 - DAN. Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin on Wednesday expressed his condolences to the relatives of the servicemen killed in the Russian plane crash in Syria.
“I extend my sincere condolences to the relatives of the servicemen killed in the IL-20 crash in Syria. May the memory of the fighters be imperishable,” he said at a meeting with journalists.
The DPR Foreign Ministry conveyed its condolences over the air accident to Russia on Tuesday.
The Russian Il-20 crashed over the Mediterranean Sea at around 23:00, Moscow time, on September 17 as it was returning to the Khmeimim air base, killing 15 Russian servicemen on board.*jk
