Donetsk, Jun 5 - DAN. OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug has arrived in Donbass, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“On June 5, OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug arrived in Donbass. He is currently inspecting the Phenol Plant’s sludge collector,” Yakubov said.
Hug is expected to visit the Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS), the Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in the south of the Republic and the Yuzhnoye (Chigari) settlement outside Gorlovka, he said.
“The Donetsk People’s Republic is interested in Alexander Hug’s monitoring the situation in person, and is open to constructive interaction and dialogue,” Yakubov said.
Hug will stay in Donbass until June 9. He last visited the Donetsk People’s Republic in mid-May.*jk
