Donetsk, Jan 20 - DAN. The humanitarian subgroup coordination of the OSCE Charlotte Relander has arrived in the DPR with a work visit, the Republic's Ombudsman Daria Morozova said on Wednesday.
"The coordinator has arrived with a three-day visit, the tour includes a number of events to have a closer look at the humanitarian situation, " Morozova said.
Relander has already met the Ombudswoman and families of people who are either in detention in Ukrainian or missing.
The OSCE representative is also to visit social infrastructure objects located along the line of contact in Donetsk, damaged or destroyed, as well as a DNA laboratory of a medical examiner service that identifies retrieved bodies.
Relander first arrived in the LPR as part of her first visit to Donbass.
Charlotta Relander replaced Swiss diplomat Toni Frisch who has been coordinator of the humanitarian subgroup for the OSCE since 2015. Relander was born in Finland. She occupied various posts at the International Committee of the Red Cross, United Nations and Finland’s Foreign Ministry. She headed offices of the international humanitarian organisations in Tajikistan and Peru. She is proficient in English, French, Spanish, Swedish and Russian.*ot
