Donetsk, Apr 23 – DAN. The Secretary-General of African Solidarity for Democracy and Independence (SADI), Malian politician Oumar Mariko has arrived in Donbass for a study visit, the DPR People's Council press service reported.
"An MP of the Malian National Assembly, the Secretary-General of a key party SADI, presidential candidate at the upcoming elections in Mali Oumar Mariko, has arrived in Donbass for a study visit."
The politician has met the DPR People's Council chairman Denis Pushilin and plans to talk to the DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.
Oumar Mariko is a prominent Malian politician, a medical doctor. He has three times run for President of Mali, in 2002, 2007 and 2013. He has also been the director general of the private radio network Kayira since 1995. In 2018 he visited Russia as an observer at the presidential election. *ot
