Donetsk, Jan 23 – DAN. DPR intelligence spotted British mercenaries serving in Donbass, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Colonel Eduard Basurin.
"Ukrainian command keeps hiring foreign mercenaries despite claims that Ukrainian armed forces are fully manned. We spotted the arrival of another group of British mercenaries to the location of 72nd separate mechanized brigade (Yasinovataya area) and 501st battalion of 36th separate marine brigade (Mariupol axis)."
DPR Operation Command regularly reports foreign presence in Donbass including mercenaries and private military companies' contractors fighting on Ukrainian side.
Recently Canadian instructors and mercenaries have been spotted in Donbass, earlier reports documented Polish, Hungarian, Slovakian and other countries presence. *ot
