Donetsk, Feb 22 – DAN. Kiev forces have opened fire on the vehicle of the representatives of the DPR mission to the JCCC, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"A vehicle of the DPR mission to the JCCC team came under grenade launcher fire outside the Donetsk water treatment plant, on the N20 highway. Thee team had to meet Mark Etherington, Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, and Ambassador Marcel Peṧko, of Director of the Conflict Prevention Centre."
A GP-25 grenade launcher shell was fired at 11.55 a.m. from Ukrainian positions at the JCCC vehicle, as the convoy was driving along the N20 highway from Kamenka.
No casualties have been reported.
The JCCC team met the OSCE members and safely left the area.
Etherington and Peṧko are expected to visit Kamenka and Yasinovataya outskirts, Ukrainian side has been notified of the plan and provided security guarantees. *ot
