Donetsk, Aug 7 - DAN. Italian photojournalist Giorgio Bianchi’s documentary “Donbass Stories” will be presented at the Visa pour l’Image international photojournalism festival in Perpignan, France, head of the DPR Office in Italy Mauriccio Marrone said in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.
“The Donbass Stories d ocumentary, shot by Italian photographer Giorgio Bianchi, will be presented at the international festival in Perpignan in the near future,” Marrone said.
It’s a story about people who live in Donetsk despite the war doing their job, he added.
Marrone noted that camera operators Luca Belardi and Maya Nogradi had shot the film “Silence! Performance is underway” about the Donbass Opera Theatre operation in wartime.
Visa pour l’Image marks its 29th anniversary this year. It runs from late August till mid-September and displays for free the images made by photojournalists from across the world.*jk
