Donetsk, Aug 17 – DAN. The head of the ICRC Mission Florence Gillette has visited the Oktyabrsky township in northern Donetsk, which is one of the most frequent targets of Ukrainian army.
She brought humanitarian aid along with her – 29 tons of compound feedstuff for poultry distributed on the premises of the school No.41. Every recipient received nearly 300 kg.
"We are providing assistance to 95 families of the Kuibyshevskiy district, this is the first distribution of aid within the framework of our project. Overall, more than 700 families will receive aid. If we speaking about Donetsk, it is 1,500 families," Gillette said.
She spoke to the locals asking about health, security situation, opportunities to restore damaged housing. She also greeted them in Russian.
Gillette's visit was announced on Sunday. She visited the DPR previously in May 2019.*ot
