Donetsk, Apr 20 – DAN. The DPR Prosecutor General's office has handed over to Holland human remains believed to belong to the victims of the Boeing MH17 which crashed outside Torez in 2014.

The OSCE SMM supervised the process of remains transfer in its Donetsk office.

A US citizen Patrick Lancaster discovered human remains on the crash site outside Grabovo in December 2017. The DPR Prosecutor General's office responded immediately saying that the Republic is ready to hand over those findings to the Netherlands.

The fragments of bodies have been passed over to the Netherlands representatives today in the presence of the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug, who is visiting the DPR.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on 17 July 2014, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board. The independent joint investigation team (JIT) led by Dutch authorities includes experts from Australia, Malaysia, Ukraine and Belgium. *ot
