Donetsk, Feb 21 – DAN. Ukraine has again snubbed the Contact Group accords on disengagement of hardware showing its destructive policy, DPR envoy to Minsk talks Denis Pushilin told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

“The Ukrainian government’s moves to sabotage Contact Group decisions and accords which were supported by the “Normandy Four” foreign ministers, can only be called absolutely destructive and reckless,” Pushilin said in a statement.
He underlined that Kiev continued the policy of protracting negotiations in the hope to disrupt the peace process while DPR insisted that the parties implement the accords to stabilize the military situation.
“The heavy weapons kept away from storage sites pose a threat to civilians. Our population knows it first-hand. I sincerely hope that thanks to OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and western partners’ influence, Ukraine will begin to fulfil the obligations it undertook at the Contact Group meeting and in the Normandy Four” format,” he added.
Earlier reports said Ukrainian armed forces disrupted the withdrawal of hardware from the contact line scheduled for 21 February evening. *jk
