Donetsk, Sep 5 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its condolences to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the terrorist attack near the building of the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan.
“The DPR Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the insolent and provocative act of terror in which several people were killed including two Russian Embassy staff, ” DPR diplomats said in a note. “In this difficult time for the families and friends, the people of Donbass expresses its sincere support and condolences and states its solidarity with the country’s leadership and the whole Russian people. There are no doubts that all those involved in this terrorist act will suffer severe punishment they deserve.”
An explosion occurred near the consular section building of the Russian Embassy in Kabul in the morning killing two members of the diplomatic mission. The Russian Embassy is in contact with Afghan security services which have launched an investigation; the Embassy security has been tightened.*jk
