Donetsk, Jun 28 – DAN. DPR Post and South Ossetia's Post and Telegraph Service have signed cooperation agreement, said DPR Post press service.
"In Tskhinval, state postal services of the two countries have signed a postal cooperation agreement," the press service said.
The document has been signed by South Ossetia Post head Vladimir Valiev and DPR Post head Denis Neudachin.
"This is a leap forward, to meet each other halfway," DPR Post said.
The document provides for experience exchange, professional training, etc.
Earlier DPR delegation to Tskhinval took part in special cancellation of postal stamps depicting Orthodox churches of the republics.
The South Ossetia is the DPR's sole official international partner, as the Caucasian republic recognized DPR independence on 27 June 2014. In May 2017 the republics signed first interstate agreement on cooperation and friendship. Other agreements are being negotiated. *ot
