Donetsk, Jul 26 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations that delivered strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory on Monday morning have suffered losses, the DPR militia reported.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces used cannon artillery to shell the Staromikhailovka neighborhood in western Donetsk and the Krasny Oktyabr village in the Telmanovsky district. Ukrainian armed formations also fired mortars at the outskirts of Yakovlevka and Vesyoloye on the Donetsk axis.
“DPR militia units had to return fire using weapons not banned by the Minsk Agreements. They suppressed the enemy fire activity,” the report said. “According to the information from the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters, three Ukrainian gunmen were wounded.”
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and use of unmanned aerial vehicles.*jk*pp
