Donetsk, Sep 1 – DAN. Alexander Zakharchenko's funeral and memorial service will take place in Donetsk on September 2, said acting DPR Head Dmitriy Trapeznikov.
"Funeral and memorial service are scheduled for September 2," he said.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in the Donetsk Ballet and Opera theater.
DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was killed in a bombing at a cafe in the Dontesk city center Friday evening. The blast injured 11 more people, including tax minister Alexander Timofeyev who is treated in hospital for serious injuries.
Dmitriy Trapeznikov, deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, has been appointed acting DPR Head in accordance with the DPR Constitution, Article 62. *ot
