Donetsk, Feb 23 - DAN. The civilian who was wounded on Monday evening as Ukrainian forces shelled the Alexandrovka settlement in the western outskirts of Donetsk is in a grave condition, local administration head Konstantin Chaly told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“He had complex surgery overnight; the doctors saved him, in fact, they tore him from the clutches of death. He is now in an intensive care unit in a very serious condition. He needs a blood transfusion,” Chaly said.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces shelled Alexandrovka on Monday evening. A 22-year-old civilian suffered a shrapnel wound to the stomach; he was rushed to Central City Hospital N 14.*jk
