Weather alert issued for DPR for Jan 15

Donetsk, Jan 14 – DAN. The DPR is under an extreme weather conditions alert issued for January 15.

The alert issued by the Emergencies Ministry warns of snow with rain, fog and visibility limited to 100-500 meters, icy rods, 15-20 mps wind gusts.

The mercury is forecast to fall to a low of -3 C rising to about +2 C, and going doen to –11 C nto January 16.

Weather conditions deteriorated across the DPR in late December as temperatures plummeted to -10 C and heavy snowfalls were observed in early January blocking some of the roads. *ot
