Donetsk, Aug 7 – DAN. The Ministry of Construction and Public Utilities has warned of possible limited water supply in Donetsk due to repairs of the Donetsk filtration station (DFS).
"Today at 8 a.m., Donetsk water treatment plant has been halted as scheduled maintenance of electric equipment is taking place there. Water supply is limited to Kievskiy, Kuibyshevskiy, Kirovskiy and Petrovskiy districts, partially to Leninskiy district. Maintenance is scheduled to last until the evening, the station will be relaunched on August 8," said deputy Minister Vitaliy Kizhayev.
Other water supply facilities function as normal.
The DFS supplies water to both sides of the contact line: DPR-controlled Donetsk, Yasinovataya, the Vasilyevka and Spartak villages, parts of Makeyevka, and Kiev-controlled Avdeyevka, Krasnogorovka and the Verkhnetoretskoye villages. The overall number of its customers exceeds 400 thousand.
It also went off grid on May 20 after a shelling incident. *ot
